Apple puts a lot of effort into the user experience. In the past, there has always been discussion around the order experience of a new iPhone. We went from the days of waiting in line on release night to waking up in the middle of the night to place our order using the Apple Store app or the Apple website. The first time Apple did this it was a complete mess. Since then things have gotten better, although it’s not perfect. The pre-order for the iPhone X was scheduled for 12:01 am Pacific time. For many, this was delayed until 5 minutes after. It didn’t appear to make much of a difference in terms of delivery. From what I’ve seen, early orders were receiving a November 3rd delivery date. Of course, those delivery dates quickly increased. Here’s what it was supposed to look like if you did the pre-approval of your iPhone Upgrade Program. The entire process takes about 30 seconds. Pretty Impressive!
